Under this policy, personal information simply means any information or data that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact you.

This Policy also applies to any personal data we collect via our website www.valleygolf.com.ph. Cookies may be used on some pages of our websites. “Cookies” are small text files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing a more customized website experience. Cookies are now used as standard device by many websites to improve users’ navigational experience.

Please remember that any personal information that you may share in public areas, such as message boards or feedback sections, becomes public, and therefore this Policy does not apply to any personal information you choose to make public.   • Manage your account, provide club information and provide services timely and efficiently  as well as for general management and reporting purposes, such as billing and collection;
  • Conduct analysis for research and marketing initiatives;
  • Perform such other processing activities or disclosure that may be required under law or regulations;
  • Keep members updated as to the latest happenings in the club and other events we are holding, that may be of interest to them;
  • Assist the club in recruitment activities and for other necessary purposes related to our business.

What type of personal information we collect

We collect personal information when it is necessary for business purposes or to meet the purposes for which you have submitted the information.

  • Basic personal information like your name, name of spouse, dependents, date of birth, gender, nationality, address, and identity supporting documents such as TIN, or passport numbers.
  • Your contact details like billing address, telephone number, mobile phone number, email address;

Where we get this personal information

We collect personal information from our members, clients, business contacts, other golf clubs, personnel, contractors and other individuals. Such personal information may be provided to us in forms filled out by individuals, face to face meetings, email messages, telephone conversations, text messages, through our websites or provided by third parties. If you contact us, we may keep a record of our interaction. By continuing to give us your personal information after having read this policy, you expressly agree that the club may collect, use, store, share, safeguard, dispose or otherwise process your information in accordance with these terms.

Most of the personal information we have are those that you have given us. You provide us personal information when you:

  • Apply for membership by filling out Membership Application Form and updating of information online;
  • Get in touch with us to ask about something;
  • Take part in our research and surveys; and/or
  • When you apply for a job with us.

Who we share your personal information

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties outside VALLEY GOLF.  In some instances, we may be required to disclose your personal information to our providers as part of business operations.

We keep and protect your information using a secured server behind a firewall, encryption and security controls;

We undergo regular audit of our security protocols to ensure your data is always protected; and we let you update your information securely to keep our records accurate.

We will cease to retain personal information, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose/s for collection of such personal information are no longer being served by such retention, and such retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
